On the second day of Yamapanch, Lakshmi Puja will be performed this evening

It is seen together, who is the goddess of misfortune and poverty and the twin sister of Lakshmi.

Just as no magnificent thing is born without waste, similarly Lakshmi always has Alakshmi.

According to popular beliefs and myths, whoever rejects these two sisters, then he is in danger.

It is believed that unless he is accepted, luck cannot be brought with him.

According to legend, Lakshmi and Alakshmi, both sisters, asked a merchant who was better among the two.

The businessman did not know what the result of making anyone unhappy would be.  So the merchant said, 'It is better if Lakshmi comes to the house, because Lakshmi has gone out of the house.'

People say that this is the reason why Lakshmi is merciful to merchants.

Lakshmi is associated with sweets, while Alakshmi is associated with kavadi items.

This is the reason why sweets are kept inside the house and lemons and chillies are hung outside the house.

It is believed that Lakshmi comes inside the house to eat sweets, while Lakshmi eats lemons and chillies at the door, and returns happily.

Both are accepted, but welcomed in different ways.

Lakshmi has two forms, Bhudevi and Sridevi.  Bhudevi is the goddess of earth, Sridevi is the goddess of heaven.  The first is associated with fertility, the second with glory and power.

Bhudevi rains in the form of gold and grain.  The other gives strength, prosperity and identity.  Bhudevi is a simple and helpful wife who serves her husband Vishnu.

Sridevi is playful.  One should always try to keep Vishnu happy.  If Bishnu is the king, Bhudevi is the empire and Sridevi is his crown, his throne.
