The Institute of Engineering Studies (IOE) has announced the result of the entrance examination of the graduate level (B.E/B.Arch). By issuing a notification, the institute has informed that the results will be published.
The entrance exam, which was stopped for a long time due to the fee dispute, was conducted from last October 14 to October 20. For the first time, 9 thousand 901 people filled the vouchers in the examination which was held at two places namely Information and Communication Technology Center (ICTC), Pulchok Lalitpur and Western Campus, Pokhara, but only 9 thousand 771 people participated.
Six thousand 721 of them have passed the entrance exam, IOE Entrance Examination Board Chairman and Assistant Dean Prada. Sushil Bahadur Bajracharya said.
Now, among the passed students, 2,040 students in five affiliated campuses and 2,304 students in 10 affiliated colleges, a total of 4,344 students can study engineering.
